About fifty years ago, Ludwig Obwieser founded EGLO with determination and perseverance, laying the foundation for a stable company. Today, we can proudly celebrate the success of this extraordinary story. The company underwent global expansion in the 1980s and 1990s, establishing its first trading company in Germany in 1986. Since then, EGLO has grown to include approximately 70 companies in over 50 countries.
One of the milestones on EGLO's path to the future was the adoption of LED technology in 2006. Now, almost their entire range consists of durable and energy-efficient LED lamps, demonstrating their focus on technical innovation.
